Ive found the fix.
Tf2 turns dark when looking at floor.
When i play the walls and cieling and floors all flash black randomly throughout thegame but the charecters dont flash its just the walls and cieling and floors.
Yeah it seems to happen because the game has some weird overlay to make stuff glow and when you turn off viewmodels it tries to overlay the refract texture on that rather than the viewmodel which is why it goes all dark.

For fecks sake people look at the date.
Cant look around in tf2 mouse frozen in one direction.
Because i ve noticed the textures in question tend to be indented and are usually on the floor.
When cleaning hardwood floors less is more.
You right click tf2 in the steam library properties general set launch options and type in windowed.
You then go to the in game options put it back to full screen and it should work.
Does anyone have a fix for this.
If waxing a floor that doesn t need it the wax will react negatively with the finish and create a cloudy look.
Any server i join when i try to look around i can t i can only see whatever direction i spawn in.
Go into the crawlspace under the floor and look for signs of moisture on the joists.
I can move with wasd just fine but i cant look around at all.
They may be mold blackened and you may even see water dripping.
A small application of cleaner on a microfiber mop is all that s needed to clean your floors.
R flashlightdepthtexture controls something to do with the shadows on textures i think so maybe it s just shadow lighting bugging out which still occurs even when player shadows are off on the textures that would turn black.
