All of shapes avaliable for painting are on display at the ceramic house. Mas miek was founded in 2010 with her daughter charlie in their hinterland studio. The pair still create ceramics together under the name in mas miek ceramic house. The pair have been creating ceramics together under the collaborative name mas miek since 2010 and in april 2017 opened their dream studio space in newstead brisbane.

Clay may be purchased by the bag from the clay bar onsite at the ceramic house. We have a full bags 10 12 5kg for 20 and half bags for 10 recycled clay for 2 a log. Mas miek ceramic house. The sessions are for 15 years and above.

The mas miek range of ceramics is utilitarian unpretentious ware with exciting glaze colours and application. All other tools glazes and facilities are free to students. The ceramic house is a working studio with inherent site dangers for children as sharp or very hot objects so we have a no children policy in the studio part of the workshop. During studio sessions clay is purchased at an additional cost.

All of our prices vary on the vessel chosen. In our studio session clay and firings are at an additional cost. If the unfired piece is taken away we will calculate costs based on the market rate of the specific clay. Mas miek ceramic house is owned and operated by mother daughter ceramic artists mieke and charlie de deyne.

Firings are charged per weight at 7 a kilo. Most of our workshops delve into a certain ceramic technique which are perfect for beginners and for more advanced students wishing to push their practise further. Regardless of course or level firing charges will be included only if the art piece is fired at ceramic house. They are most welcome under supervision in the front coffee shop.

Please remember to stick to the cafe seating area and not the studio tables for they may be booked by students participating in a class session. Unfortunately due to workplace health and safety regulations our studio is a strictly adults only workplace. Enter blk 9004 tampines st 93 02 102.
